A new Economy

I think it is how new these ideas are to most people. This doesn't get into the mainstream press ever. Nobody knows about it”.

Scotty is on a mission to create a new economy – one that gives power back to the people and makes us better connected to where our resources come from.

One way that Scotty shares his message is through hosting a weekly radio program. In a search for connection, I join him live on air to discuss connection and meaning.

About the Podcast

Towards Connection
I'm willing to take risks and get uncomfortable in an Australia-wide search for what brings people meaning and connection.
Do you have enough connection and meaning in your life? What does this even mean and why does it matter?

Follow me – Kai, on a camping trip around Australia, meeting people who have found meaning and connection in their life.

Learn how they discovered it, how it has changed their life and why it is so powerful.

Then, join me as I try their activity out for myself, throwing myself into it with genuine curiosity and unbridled effort in an attempt to bring more meaning and connection into my life… who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to try something new yourself.

Kai Noonan

Towards Connection is my first (and so far only) podcast. It was a bit of an experiment, an adventure and remains a passion project.

My professional background is in social services, specialising in sexual, domestic and family violence. I didn't get into this work to help people, I got into it because I find people fascinating. Especially in their darkest hours.

I believe we all just fumble through life doing the best we can with whatever experiences and resources we have. I also believe that everyone has a story to tell, and I want to hear those stories.
